With “Taiwan Moves”, HELLERAU is starting a long-term relationship with Taiwan's diverse dance and art scene. Numerous artists, companies and cultural professionals from the Pacific island republic will be guests at HELLERAU over the next two years and share their art with audiences and the Taiwanese community in Dresden and Saxony. A long-term artistic exchange with the Saxon performing arts scene is also planned.
Funding
The “Taiwan Moves” program is presented in cooperation with the European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) GmbH and with the kind support of the TSMC Education & Culture Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan. Funded by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony. This program is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament. With the kind support of „So geht sächsisch.“ (Simply Saxony).
